WATERJET CUTTING USING CNC MACHINES

Waterjet cutting technology is an innovative method used in industry. The cutting process takes place without the temperature factor, using a high-pressure water jet combined with an abrasive in the form of sand. The applied solution allows cutting in two dimensions a variety of elements with full freedom of shape, both in unit quantities and repeatable series. The obtained elements allow optimizing the time of further processing.

We have two high-end CNC cutting machines for processing almost any type of material, ranging in thickness from 2 mm to 50 mm. The maximum dimensions of the plates that can be processed, depending on the type of cutter, are:

  • 2000 mm x 4000 mm, cutting precision up to 0.2 mm
  • 1500 mm x 3000 mm, cutting precision of 0.05 mm to 0.1 mm.

We are able to achieve a very high accuracy of the cut parts, thanks to the use of a head that compensates for the angle of the water jet.

We specialize in waterjet cutting in the following materials:

  • aluminium
  • ferrous metals
  • carbon steels
  • alloy steels
  • stainless steels
  • plastics
  • ceramic and stoneware tiles

Why use the waterjet cutting method:

  • Simplifying and shortening the production process
  • Repeatability of the process and ease of modification of the process during the process
  • saving of material due to optimization of distribution of detail cuts within the formats

COMPREHENSIVE EXECUTION OF PARTS

Our own tool shop allows us to work independently and efficiently in the field of complex manufacturing of parts not only for our own realizations, but also for external customers.

We offer fast production and rework of details and structural elements, in single or serial quantities from a variety of materials, such as:

  • stainless, carbon and structural steel
  • alloy steels, including aluminum alloys and copper
  • ferrous metals
  • plastics

In our business, we use both modern 3-axis CNC machining centers and traditional machine tools.

We offer the following services:

  • CNC miling  max X axis - 1400 mm, Y axis - 600 mm, Z axis - 400 mm; precision up to 5 microns

  • flat grinding max length - 400 mm, width - 140 mm, height - 200 mm; for rollers max diameter - 200 mm, length - 600 mm; precision 8 microns

  • Jig grinding, max X-axis - 400mm, Y-axis - 250mm,
    Z axis - 80 mm; precision 8 microns

  • CNC wire EDM max 300 mm x 400 mm x 150 mm

  • plunge EDM - max 200 mm x 150 mm x 120 mm

  • lathing max length - 800 mm, - max diameter - 220 mm

  • heat treatment

  • oxidation

All manufactured components are subjected to mandatory quality control using modern measuring equipment, such as:

  • KREON coordinate arm
  • Mitutoyo LINEAR HEIGHT altimeter, max h - 600 mm
MEASUREMENTS USING KREON MEASURING ARM

With this instrument, we can perform precise contact measurements. Thanks to its high degree of mobility, measurements can be carried out on site or directly at the customer's premises in a production environment.

Kreon measuring arm is used to inspect manufactured components and component geometry to maintain the highest precision. Measuring under production conditions is a definite advantage, which allows the speed of work to be increased while maintaining high quality.

MACHINE STOP TIME TESTS

Workplace safety is regulated by law. It is the employer's duty to protect employees from risks that may arise when working with machinery

This is why it is recommended to perform stop time tests.
The stop time measurement service is completed with the issue of a certificate confirming that the safety standards of the parts tested are met.
